The Maldives has won the case brought by Mauritius against it before a special chamber of the International International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea.
Professor Jean-Marc Thouvenin, who heads the International Litigation and Arbitration Department of Sygna Partners, advised the Maldives throughout the proceedings and pleaded the case last October. The Maldives' team also included professors Payam Akhavan and Makane Mbengue and Amy Sader and Naomi Hart . Sygna Partners congratulates the Maldives for this great victory.
